FCNet AccountsFCNet accounts are available to all students, faculty, staff and hourly employees of Fullerton College. In addition, Academic Computing Technologies offers FCNet accounts for campus departments and organizations that would like to publish web pages or establish an email address. Please use the links provided on the left of this page to obtain information about the different accounts available. Account request forms are also listed for your convenience. Notice to all faculty using campus servers in the classroom: On July 25th, 2001, one of the final steps in the network security configuration took place. This involved moving the logical location of the staff server. Staff account H: drives are NOT accessible from “student” locations (e.g. classrooms/labs). While staff locations (e.g. offices) have access to both staff and student servers, student locations are only able to access the student servers. A faculty member who has material stored on their H: drive will not be able to access that material from a classroom. To access the material from a classroom the faculty member should use the S: drive. You will still use your staff account to access this space. No account
changes are required. If you are affected by this transition, please call ACT to make arrangements to obtain space on the student server. Keep in mind that both servers are accessible to faculty and staff from their offices and other staff locations. The only restriction is accessing the staff server from student locations.
