Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security practice that requires you to provide not just your password but at least one additional factor for authentication. This additional factor can be an SMS (text message) sent to your phone, an automated phone call, or the use of an Authenticator app on your mobile phone.

You will need to select one or more of the following methods for the Sign-In system to contact you when:

  • Personal Phone Number that can receive automated voice calls
  • Personal Phone Number that can receive SMS Text messages
  • An Android or Apple smartphone
  • An Android or Apple tablet

If you chose to use a personal phone number, you will only be able to access your account from locations that you have access to that phone number. For example, if you use a home phone number, you will only be able to access your account from home. If you use an office phone number, you will only be able to access your account from your office. We highly recommend if you are going to use Voice Calling or SMS Text messages, that you use a mobile phone or device that can receive them.
